Duke Energy Convention Center
The renovation and expansion of the 1967 original building completely changed the image and function of the facility. The wrapping lobby allowed access to two connected exhibit halls, and the addition of the third floor ballroom created major function opportunities that did not exist in the original "exposition center".
Unique FeaturesThe façade of the Albee Theatre was incorporated into the design of the new facility.
